Appointed as Independent Commissioner of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk since 2009. I Nyoman Mastra was born in Singaraja, Bali in 1944. He graduated from Marine Military Academy in 1967, the Navy School of Technology in 1979 and Navy Command and Staff College in 1985.

Prior to entering a business career, I Nyoman Mastra had a career in the Indonesia Navy with the last position as the Logistics’ Secretary of Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) in 1993-1994. He entered the business world as a Commissioner of PT Sorini Jala Jaya Industri in the period 1998-2001, then Director of PT Pratama Dermaga Nusantara in the year 2002-2007, advisor of PT Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo Tbk in 2007 and in the period 2008-2009 as the Head of Ship Management of the Company.

Appointed as Commissioner of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk since 1994. He was born in Kutaraja in 1935. Sabirin Saiman graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta in 1962.

Sabirin Saiman began his carrier in marine transportation and port management services as the staff of the General Body of Pelabuhan Jakarta (1962-1963). He was promoted to Head of Finance Division of the National Port Company I, Belawan, Medan, North Sumatra (1964-1966), the Finance and Commercial Department of Perusahaan Negara Pelabuhan VI, Makassar (1966-1968), Chief Secretary and Deputy Administrator of Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak, Surabaya (1969 -1970), Director Perusahaan Negara Pelabuhan VIII, Ambon (1970-1971), Head of Commercial Services Division Badan Pengusahaan Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (1972-1977), Head of the Directorate of Ports and Dredging, Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Department of Transportation (1978-1980), Administrator of Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, 1980-1984, culminating as Director of Perum Pelabuhan II, Tanjung Priok (1984-1991). Currently, he is also advisor of Perusahaan Pelayaran Pulau Laut since 1992.

His professional career began as a Tax Accounting of PT PAKERIN, Surabaya from 1982 to 1984, then as the Cost Accounting of PT Artindo, Surabaya.

Joining the Company in 1989, he currently also serves as President Director of PT Usaha Era Pratama Nusantara and PT AKR Sea Transport, also as Director of PT Jakarta Tank Terminal, PT Arjuna Utama Kimia, PT Andahanesa Abadi and AKR (Guigang) Transhipment Port Co Ltd.

Born in Surakarta in 1964, Arief Budiman Utomo earned a Business Economics Degree at the University of Atma Jaya, Yogyakarta in 1986 and completed Advanced Management Program at Boston, Harvard Business School, United States in 2006. He attended a number of seminars and management training, among others, Coaching for Service Excellence by The Forum Corporation, Management by Manager at the Michigan Business School.

Arief Budiman Utomo began his career as Sales Executive of the Company at the Jakarta Branch 1988-1990. Then successively as Sales Supervisor at Semarang’s Branch in 1990-1994, Deputy Manager of Commercial Organic in 1994-1996, Commercial Manager of Chlor Alkali 1996-1998, Sales Office Manager of Greater Jakarta and South Sumatra in 1998-2000, Head of Sales Division in 2000-2003 and Deputy Managing Director of the Company in 2003-2006.

Appointed as Director of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk since 2006. Born in Bagan Siapi-api in 1967, Mery Sofi earned an Accounting Degree at UKRIDA, Jakarta in 1990. In the period 1989-2008, she followed a number of seminars and workshops at home and abroad, among others, ABC Costing (1994), Quality Improvement Process Management (1994), Indonesia New Accounting Principles, Mini MBA Class, Treasury Management and Company Revaluation.

Her career in the business started as a Systems and Procedures Staff at Indofood Group in 1988 and last as Finance and Accounting Manager of Packaging Division Group of Indofood in 1997. Joining the Company as Financial Controller in 1997, Ms Sofi was promoted to Director of Finance in 2006.

Appointed as Director of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk since 2009. Born in India in 1964, Suresh Vembu is a Chartered Accountant from the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants, New Delhi.

Before his career in Indonesia, Suresh Vembu was Assistant Finance Manager at TVS Electronics Limited, Bangalore in 1987-1991, then as Finance Manager of Birla 3M Limited, Bangalore up to 1995. He joined the Texmaco Group as Finance Commerce/Commercial Manager of PT Perkasa Heavyndo Engineering and PT Texmaco Perkasa Engineering (1995-2001), General Manager of Corporate Finance (Engineering) - Texmaco (2001 -2004). Joining the Company as Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations in the year 2004-2007 and the 2007-2009 period as Corporate Secretary and Head of Investor Relations of the Company.

Appointed as Director of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk since 2012. Nery Polim was born in Medan on December 17, 1964. She received her Bachelor degree in 1988 from California State University of Bakersfield, USA.

Nery Polim has joined the Company since 1993. Her last position is Head of People Development. Nery Polim attended various training sessions and seminars such as Seven Habits, Effective Meetings, HR Competency and Strategic HR management. As the Head of People Development, Nery Polim is responsible for recruitment, improving the abilities, skills, and expertise of employees. She is also responsible for career development and setting the Company’s work programs and culture.
