SORBITOL
PT AKR Corporindo Tbk, through its subsidiary Khalista (Liuzhou) Chemical Industries Ltd (Khalista) in Liuzhou - China, produces sorbitol and starch sweeteners. By investing in Khalista in 1995, the Company is one of the first Indonesian companies to invest in the Chinese market.
Sorbitol is a fine chemical used as a low calorie sweetener, as well as raw material for tooth paste and other food products. Khalista supplies sorbitol, maltitol, mannitol and other starch derivatives in accordance to customer specifications.
