CHEMICALS

PT AKR Corporindo Tbk is one of the largest trader and distributor of basic chemicals in Indonesia, having been distributing basic chemicals since 1960s. The products include chloro-alkali chemicals, solvents, and organic and non-organic chemicals.

LOGISTIC

PT AKR Corporindo Tbk operates logistics in Indonesia and China. This business includes port and terminal management, warehousing, tank terminal rental for basic chemicals and petroleum, land transportation, and also loading and unloading for bulk cargo, general cargo and containers.

Logistic services in Indonesia are conducted by the Company and its subsidiaries PT Usaha Era Pratama Nusantara, PT Andahanesa Abadi and PT Jakarta Tank Terminal. Logistic services in China are conducted through the Company’s subsidiaries AKR (Guigang) Port Co Ltd, AKR (Guigang) Transshipment Port Co Ltd and Guangxi (Guigang) AKR Container Port Co Ltd.

MANUFACTURING

PT AKR Corporindo Tbk, through its subsidiaries in China and Indonesia, produces sorbitol and adhesive materials. The production of sorbitol and starch sweetener is conducted by Khalista (Liuzhou) Chemical Industries Ltd in Liuzhou, China. The production of adhesive materials is conducted by PT Arjuna Utama Kimia in Surabaya, Indonesia.

COAL

PT AKR Corporindo Tbk entered coal mining and infrastructure business in 2009 by acquiring 87.5% shares in PT Anugrah Karya Raya (AKR Coal), a coal mining and trading company which controls 5 concessions covering 24,388 hectares of coal mining in Muara Teweh, Barito Utara , Central Kalimantan. Currently, the Company owns 94.64% of shares in AKR Coal. The Company also executes coal trading business in Guigang since 2010 through its subsidiary AKR (Guang Xi) Coal Trading Co Ltd.
