As Indonesia deregulated its downstream petroleum industry commencing from September 2005, AKR is the first private company to commence import and distribution of non-subsidized fuels. AKR is leading the way through a fast growth in fuel oils business, capitalizing on its established network for bulk chemicals distribution and a long standing reputation for reliability and customer service.

We purchase fuel oil, diesel oil and blend components from International oil companies, refineries, major oil producers and other sources. We transport the fuels using a fleet of tankers, store and blend IDO, which we sell and deliver to a broad base of customers. These customers include Industries, commercial establishments, mining companies, plantations, bunkers and ports.

Our broad overview of our supply chain management includes:

• sourcing and importation of High Speed diesel, fuel oil,
• shipping these fuels to our Terminals in Indonesia,
• storing and blending IDO to particular specifications and
• delivering fuels to our customers' using AKR fleet of trucks and barges and pipelines

AKR current fuel distribution coverage has already encompassed 3 major islands which are Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan - and soon Bali. AKR has made firm commitment to continually invests and strengthens its supply chain capabilities, which model ensures the consistency of delivery and service to industrial customers.
