BKMS and Waskita Bumi Wira Signed MOU on The Construction of JIIPE Toll Road Access

Jakarta, 1 August 2019 – PT. Berkah Kawasan Manyar Sejahtera (BKMS) and PT Waskita Bumi Wira (WBW) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the construction of Java Integrated Industrial and Port Estate (JIIPE) toll road access, on August 1, 2019, in Gresik, East Java. Through the signing of this MOU, the two parties agreed to develop 2km access in the last section of the Krian - Legundi - Bunder - Manyar (KLBM)  connecting the toll road to JIIPE directly.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Bambang Soetiono Soedijanto as President Director of PT. BKMS with Mr. Hendra Budiman as Finance Director of PT. BKMS, and Mr. Herwidiakto President Director of PT. WBW, accompanied by shareholder of BKMS from BJTI represented by Mr. Aditya Respati Djatinendra Director of Finance, HR and General and Finance Director of PT. Berlian Manyar Sejahtera Ms. Dewi Djunaidi, witnessed by the Assistant Deputy of Multimodal Transportation of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. Tulus Hutagalung.

President Director of BKMS, Bambang Soetiono Soedijanto, stated, " Connectivity concept is continuously developed by JIIPE so that it can directly connected to domestic and international markets. JIIPE is designed to save logistic costs for its industrial tenants, by  provide eassy access via 3 moda of transportation; sea, land and train. With the signing of toll road construction, going forward JIIPE will be more accessible from major cities. "

Separately,Mr. Herwidiakto from Waskita congratulated on the cooperation and expressed his hope, "With the toll road access, connectivity between cities in  Java will be improved, traffic congestion levels can be reduced, and more factories to be built in JIIPE".

JIIPE is an integrated industrial estate in East Java with a total area of 3,000 hectares, consisting of industrial estates with bonded logistic facilities, international public deep seaport with inter-island connections, and supported by commercial and residential estate. Located in Gresik City, East Java, 24 km from Surabaya, the economic and investment center of East Java.
