AKRA Declares Special Interim Dividend of Rp 135 Per Share

JAKARTA, Feb 23, 2011 - PT AKR Corporindo, Tbk. (Bloomberg: AKRA IJ), Indonesia’s leading private distributor of petroleum and basic chemicals, today announced special interim dividend of Rp 135 per share or in aggregates of Rp 512 billion, which will be paid on March 29, 2011 to shareholders on record as at March 16, 2011.

The dividend represents 30.5% of the extraordinary profit of approximately Rp 1.67 trillion booked on the closing of the divestment of shares in PT Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo Tbk.

Mr. Haryanto Adikoesoemo, President Director of AKRA, said, “The decision to pay a special interim dividend is consistent with the Company’s policy to pay at least 30% of the profit of the Company to our shareholders. This announcement also reflects our strong financial position, and our confidence in our long term growth prospects.”
