As a logistic supply chain company, AKR deliver products that are essential for economic growth and the upliftment of the Indonesian population. We take the utmost care in procurement, handling, storage and transportation to ensure environment protection and safety. We comply with all government regulations and endeavor in our operations to minimize use of energy and use cleaner, better quality fuel and renewables. AKR and stakeholders work on all functions and areas of the business to meet our environment protection targets. We work with suppliers and partners to meet environment standards and intensify our efforts to reduce energy intensity from year to year. 

We provide added value by delivering products with low emissions. We are part of the Indonesian government’s Biodiesel program to distribute Biodiesel B30 by 2020 and are ready to be involved in further biodiesel initiatives in the future.

Our retail station with BP only offers Euro 4 quality fuel with technology that protects the engine from dirt and saves energy consumption.

At JIIPE, we generate electricity using gas which is cleaner. On August 4, 2021 AKR and PT Bayu Buana Gemilang (BBG) have signed an engagement to establish a joint venture company PT Berkah Buana Energi. AKR and BBG will work together to distribute affordable energy for industrial customers in JIIPE. Natural gas is one of the cleanest, with low carbon intensity, the safest and most useful of all energy sources.

In the future, we have a plan to introduce Renewable Energy by introducing Solar Panels in JIIPE for power generation.
