AKR Corporindo included in all IDX ESG Indices Committed to implement SDG principles

JAKARTA, 13 July 2022 – Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation (KEHATI) has confirmed that PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (IDX stock code: AKRA.IJ) Indonesia’s leading supply chain and logistics company and developer of one of Indonesia’s largest integrated industrial and port estate will be constituent of the SRI-KEHATI Index, ESG Quality 45 IDX KEHATI Index , ESG Sector Leaders Index IDX KEHATI for the Period July – November 2022. The selection of the constituent stocks in these indexes is conducted by Kehati foundation based on a rigorous review of the sustainability practices, reports and is an acknowledgment of the commitment in carrying out sustainable management that concerns about environment, social, and good corporate governance.
The SRI-KEHATI Index, the IDX KEHATI ESG Quality 45 Index, and the IDX KEHATI ESG Sector Leaders Index are reference indexes for investment principles that emphasize ESG aspects in the Indonesian Capital Market and become important indicators in improving environmental conservation. In the assessment process, the Company must demonstrate its commitment to sustainable practices and fulfill all data required by the ESG questionnaire as reported in the SR Report. AKRA has fulfilled all the requirements and has been included in the SRI-KEHATI index since December 1, 2021, and now has been re-appointed for the the 2nd period up to end of 2022.

The Company has published the Sustainability Report 2021 as one of references in the assessment of ESG index. AKRA has published Sustainability Reports in accordance with GRI Standards since 2013, highlighting various sustainability metrics and strategies of AKRA.
