AKRA Reports 9M10 Net Profit of Rp 225 Billion, Up 17% YoY; Sales Revenue Grows 35% YoY

October 29, 2010 PT AKR Corporindo Tbk., (?KRA?, reported net profit of Rp 225 billion during the nine months ended 30th September 2010, a 17% YoY increase compared to the same period in 2009. During the third quarter of 2010, the Company reported net profit of Rp 85 billion, up 20% QoQ compared to Rp 71 billion during the second quarter of 2010.

AKRA recorded a 35% YoY increase in sales revenue to Rp 8,538 billion during the nine months of 2010 over Rp 6,307 billion during the same period last year.

Petroleum which accounts for 60% of AKRA? consolidated sales revenue during 9M10, continued to be the growth driver. Petroleum sales volume was up 35% YoY to 950,691 KL driven by strong demand in mining sector especially in the eastern part of the country. Basic chemicals reported volume growth of 26% YoY to 826,828 MT in 9M10, indicating strong consumer demand in Indonesia. → Download
