AKRA sells stake in PT Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo Tbk

PT AKR Corporindo Tbk. (“AKR”) (Bloomberg Stock Ticker: AKRA IJ) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Cargill to sell all of the ordinary shares of PT Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo Tbk (“Sorini”) held by AKR amounting to 629,166,945 shares (68.82% of the issued share capital of Sorini) at a price of IDR 3,500 per share. The transaction is subject to approval of AKR shareholders in a general meeting of shareholders of AKR which will be conducted in January 2011.
