AKRA wins SWA Best Wealth Creator award 2016

JAKARTA, 11th Aug 2016 – PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (IDX ticker code: AKRA.IJ) is happy to announce receipt of the SWA 100 Best wealth creator 2016 award at an award function held at the Shangrila Hotel, Jakarta on 10th August 2016.

AKRA is ranked as the Top company in the category “ Capital goods” and ranked 7th Rank overall amongst Indonesian Public companies. According to SWA Wealth Added index during 2011 – 2015 AKR WAI is Rp 14,714 billion, with the market capitalisation growing from Rp 6,561 billion in 2010 to Rp 28,334 billion at the end of 2015 an increase of 332%. WAI is a methodology used by SWA towards the assessment of the wealth cereated by companis.

SWA Magazine in cooperation with Stewart Stern & Co conduct an intensive research about company performance in delivering added value to its share holders. The research team appraised the Wealth Added Index (WAITM ) from period of 2010-2015 (five years) on daily basis. In this context, the Economic Value Added (EVA) tested approach adequately measured the company’s performances in giving added value to its shareholders.
